You can't be serious?

So I'm in a photography class at school. At said school we have an assignment that we have to do. This assignment is called Depth of Field. Its pretty easy to do, nothing much into it and I had a great idea to use for this. So I asked the teacher. The teacher's name is Mr. Nino ( with an accent on the N pointing to the right) and he is like 100 years old. The guy taught MY dad when he was at school. And I'm going to the same school as he did. SO anyway, I asked him if I could use a 1860 Henry Rifle for this assignment. He agrees to it, but is very unsure about it because it is still a fire arm. He told me to ask either the Principle or a Vice principle. I went in and found nothing...... But I did find a lady named Rita. She helped out to find a VP but found none. ONLY until I told her what I wanted to do, she magically found a VP.....Great XP

To finish this off, they said that I can't use it for my assignment because it is a FIRE ARMS. There were no, IF, ANDS, or BUTS, about it. Hell, students can get in trouble for just drawing a picture of a gun on their papers. This is so stupid. I don't know why they do this, but its a rule. In fact I might have gotten in trouble for just mentioning a gun. This is so stupid. But its the rules and I can't argue with someone who has more power over me when it comes to passing school.

I asked why? Their answer was because there is so much drama going on with parents and people that they just don't even want to deal with something such as this. People are getting so out of hand and crazy about guns that the school just wants to stay away from the subject because they don't want to deal with the annoying and pointless rules that might be forced upon them.

This was like the only thing that I agree with them on. People are getting out of hand with guns and it is getting annoying. People are stirring up all kinds of drama and it really is a HUGE waste of time. Why go crazy of a few incidents when there are actual people in the WORLD that are fighting just to stay alive. and we're worried about our amendments? Come on people, figure out where the real fight is and not where you can bitch about something as simple as this.

You wanna fix something, try looking out your damn window and seeing what the real problems are, and not what people are just either lying about or complaining about. Fix America before you destroy what little we already have.
